The number of persons with intellectual disabilities is increasing in our community.  Based in the philosophical belief that the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities should be met in the most appropriate settings.

Aging Issues
The percentage of persons 55 years old and over is increasing significantly in the community. To address the issues of this population, the Kennedy Foundation has provided funding for intitiatives related to Aging Issues.The Kennedy Foundation sponsored several demonstration projects which are being replicated throughout the country to meet the needs of persons with intellectual disabilities who are aging.
