Employment |
|
| The passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990 opened new opportunities
for persons with intellectual disabilities, especially in the area of
employment addressed specifically by Title I of the act. The
Kennedy Foundation has recently launched a major initiative designed to
lead widespread employment of persons with intellectual
disabilities in
essentially all types of jobs. |
